Marda Loop Justice Film Festival (Calgary, Alberta)
This annual (free!) film festival has an amazing collection of documentaries and other films that touch on every Millennium Development Goal. The films are hosted at: Globe Cinema John Dutton Theater, Calgary Public Library River Park Auditorium There is also an NGO village at River Park Auditorium when films are being screened there.

The Bergen Farmer's Market is having their last market of the season! It's a wonderful market with local artisans and farmers. World AIDS Day
World AIDS day is an annual awareness campaign. Currently there are 36.7 million people worldwide who have HIV/AIDS. As HIV/AIDS is a sexually transmitter infection, worldwide stigma is still an issue and the knowledge required to project ourselves from becoming infected is not universally available. Show solidarity on World AIDS Day by wearing a Red Ribbon and getting involved with organizations that world to fight this virus.
